I feel that the Mental Health team should realise that it isn't always necessarily mental illness but could also be spiritual, for example, Demons or Angel's or Telepathy, as to why I experience voices and minds eye visual images in my head. Psychics do exist!
If you would like to contact the central clinic that provides Clozapine/depot treatment to discuss further please call 03000 270962

I don't think the service provided could have been any worse! I used to have a CPN and as they moved to another role, I was given another one and even told their name. When they had not contacted me for a number of months, I contacted them to ask what was happening. I was then told that I no longer had a CPN. Apparently, I would not have been told that if I did not ask (despite the fact my relationship had broken down and I was in temporary homelessness accommodation, so clearly struggling)!

It is a very good service and is person centred as well as informative my only reason for not giving 5stars on all is due to response times and call backs which are promised and not always delivered.

Thank you for your kind words. I have passed this review in full to the service manager. Best wishes, Hugh Jones, Patient Experience Manager
The care and support I received from [name removed] across a number of years most definitely saved my life. [name removed] treated me with compassion, empathy, honesty and professionalism. She always showed me such patience and respect in a human way that I hadn’t experienced elsewhere across health services. Without her input and the DBT programme I underwent with [name removed] I don’t think I would be the resilient person I am today and I am forever grateful for this service - without it I may not be here now and my life would not be as enriched. I now have a 7 year old amazing daughter and a job I am thriving in, prior to [name removed] stepping in as my CPN in 2014, I was hopeless and wasn’t able to foresee a future so thank you [name removed], [name removed] and all those that cared for me between then and now.
Discharged me unfairly and left me no support! Been struggling but hay guess I'm on my own!

Felt very comfortable and validated when talking about my mental health. Felt the person looking after me was very kind, patient and understanding. Really helped my thinking.
I was originally referred to CMHT Blue Arc by my GP as I wanted a medication review as I had been on fluoxetine for over 5 years and never had a review. My GP felt she was not best placed to handle this so made a referral to this team. I was called by one lady from this team who asked what I wanted and I advised I wanted a medication review, she said this wasn't her area so passed me to another team. I got called by a lady who asked what I wanted so I said a medication review. She should have been more than aware that someone with Asperger's syndrome needs clear information. She called me when I was driving (on Bluetooth) (which I made her aware of) and she laughed (not sure why that is funny?) and she offered me an appointment. She said Tuesday 10th January and I asked what time and she afternoon, I said yes but what time exactly as I have to ask for the time off and she said sometime in the afternoon and again, I said what time and she said 3pm finally!!! I felt she made the communication quite difficult.
I then received a letter in the post which advised of the appointment but where it says reason for appointment it said to understand what support I needed. I decided to call the team as I was concerned that they were not going to do the medication review and I would be wasting mine and their time. I made two attempts to call the number on the letter and on my third try, I left a message asking to be called back, advising of my name and number and why I was calling.
I have previously been to Campbell House over many years and think the service I was offered was appalling so I did not want any support from them, just the medication review.
I never received a call back so I did not actually attend the appointment. I made attempts to contact them so this was poor communication on their part.

Hospital staff talk down to you and at you. Do not treat you as a person and have no understanding of mental health, panic attacks and anxiety attacks
We are really sorry this has been your experience. It is not acceptable. We have passed your comment to the staff to remind them of the need to be compassionate at all times.
